We know that the COVID-19 pandemic is at the top of most people’s minds. We want to make sure past, current, and future customers understand how seriously we are taking this.
Roofing is an essential service. Our company is well prepared and is positioned to use electronic communication to adhere to Governor Kemp, Governor McMaster and the CDC’s guidelines about social distancing. The paragraphs below detail several changes we have made to the way we do business with our customers.
Estimate Process
– Our estimate process is normally an intimate opportunity for our sales staff to hear our homeowner’s concerns around the kitchen table or in the living room. For the foreseeable future homeowners will have the option to choose between an outdoor sales appointment conducted at a distance, or a remote electronic conference with our salesperson. When scheduling the estimate with our office managers, homeowners will be asked which appointment the homeowner would prefer. Regardless of which preference, we will still visit the home to physically measure the roof, but how we interact with homeowners will differ based on which preference is chosen.
- In-person appointment – Our sales staff will notify the homeowner by phone/text they have arrived, will measure the roof, will assemble the estimate and proposal, send it via email, will notify the homeowner by phone/text to come outside, and will then conduct the remainder of the appointment outside while adhering to the recommended 6 feet radius between staff and homeowner.
- Remote appointment – Our sales staff will call or text the homeowner notifying them of their arrival, will measure the roof, will leave the property to return to the office, will email the estimate and contract to the homeowner, and will call by phone to go over the estimate with the homeowner.
Roofing Process –
When a homeowner decides to have JCB Roofing complete the roofing project, our project manager will be the sole point of contact for the project. They will maintain constant communication regarding project progress and/or situations that may need the homeowner’s input via text, phone calls, or 6 foot social distancing based on the homeowner’s stated preference.
Because of these difficult and unsure times, we are committed to putting the health of our customers and our employees first. If you have questions specific to your project, please call your local office for more information.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your continued efforts at social distancing to slow the spread of this virus.
Sincerely,
Bobby Myers
